Your information

Privacy on Truervw.

Understand what you share, what is public and how to make a privacy request.

This notice describes the current Truervw launch experience.

Information you provide

When you create an account, Truervw stores your email address, public display name and account authentication data. When you submit a review, we store its content, rating, experience date, status and associated account and business. Business claims, reports, appeals and support requests include the details you enter and the information needed to manage those requests.

Review drafts and helpful votes

When you continue from the review form, we can keep up to five review drafts privately for up to 24 hours so you can finish sign-in or correct a form error. A draft is associated with your current browser session or account and is cleared after successful submission. Passwords are never included in review drafts.

If you mark a review as helpful, the service records your account's vote to prevent duplicate votes. The public page shows the total; it does not list who voted. You can undo a vote.

What other people can see

Your public display name, published reviews and public business responses are visible on Truervw. Review dates and the experience date may also be shown. Approved business profile details and websites are public. Your account email address is not displayed on your public reviewer profile.

Business-claim evidence, support messages, review reports and appeals are intended for the relevant account holder and authorized site administrators, rather than public display. Avoid including sensitive documents or private information that is unnecessary for the request.

How information is used

Information is used to provide accounts, verify email access, publish and manage reviews, check business ownership requests, respond to support matters, moderate content and maintain the service. Moderation actions and important changes are recorded in an administrative audit log.

Technical information may be processed by the site's hosting, security and email systems to operate the service, diagnose problems and limit abuse. Verification and password-reset messages use the email service configured for the website.

Cookies and embedded content

WordPress uses cookies for sign-in and account sessions. Review widgets display information from Truervw when loaded on another website. External business websites have their own privacy practices; following a business link takes you to that separate site.

Changes, removal and requests

You can edit your reviews and remove them from public view through your account. Content moved to the trash or held in moderation may remain in administrative records or backups while it is needed to operate the service, address disputes or meet applicable obligations.

To request an account correction, a copy of your information or account deletion, use the contact form and choose the relevant privacy topic. We may need to confirm that you control the account before acting on a request. Submitting a request does not automatically export or erase information.

Questions

Use the private support form for questions about your information. Do not include passwords or payment details.
